The
Children:
The children are our
future. Nothing is more important than insuring that our
children are properly cared for.
As parents, it is our
responsibility to insure that our children have every opportunity
to obtain the best possible education. A major part of the
education process is to instill in our children proper nutritional
habits and to ensure that they receive the proper nutrition
from our public schools.
This web site is designed
to assist you with information concerning the food that
is being served your children and what you can do as a parent
to change the system if you feel change is necessary. You
can make a difference in the type of food your child receives
at school.

Your
Family:
You work hard to
ensure that your family is cared for. You teach your children
values, training them in every aspect concerning right and
wrong.
One of the values that
you stress is proper nutrition, what they should and should
not eat, and when they should eat it.
Are your nutritional
values being followed in the Kentucky public schools? Think
that the state public school system would never feed your
children high sugar content foods and then place them in
the classroom to learn? THINK AGAIN!
